The Fig

وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ1

Ayah 1

Translation of the meaningBy the fig and the olive ˹of Jerusalem˺

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ2

Ayah 2

Translation of the meaningand Mount Sinai

وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ3

Ayah 3

Translation of the meaningand this secure city ˹of Mecca˺

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمࣲ‏4

Ayah 4

Translation of the meaningIndeed, We created humans in the best form

ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ5

Ayah 5

Translation of the meaningBut We will reduce them to the lowest of the low ˹in Hell˺

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونࣲ‏6

Ayah 6

Translation of the meaningexcept those who believe and do good—they will have a never-ending reward

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ7

Ayah 7

Translation of the meaningNow, what makes you deny the ˹final˺ Judgment

أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ8

Ayah 8

Translation of the meaningIs Allah not the most just of all judges
