The Chargers

وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحࣰ ا1

Ayah 1

Translation of the meaning’ By the galloping, panting horses

فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحࣰ ا2

Ayah 2

Translation of the meaningstriking sparks of fire ˹with their hoofs˺

فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحࣰ ا3

Ayah 3

Translation of the meaninglaunching raids at dawn

فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعࣰ ا4

Ayah 4

Translation of the meaningstirring up ˹clouds of˺ dust

فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا5

Ayah 5

Translation of the meaningand penetrating into the heart of enemy lines

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودࣱ‏6

Ayah 6

Translation of the meaningSurely humankind is ungrateful to their Lord—

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدࣱ‏7

Ayah 7

Translation of the meaningand they certainly attest to this—

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ8

Ayah 8

Translation of the meaningand they are truly extreme in their love of ˹worldly˺ gains

۞أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ9

Ayah 9

Translation of the meaningDo they not know that when the contents of the graves will be spilled out

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ10

Ayah 10

Translation of the meaningand the secrets of the hearts will be laid bare—

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّخَبِيرُۢ11

Ayah 11

Translation of the meaningsurely their Lord is All-Aware of them on that Day
