ٱلرَّحِيمِإِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ1

Ayah 1

Translation of the meaningIndeed, ˹it is˺ We ˹Who˺ sent this ˹Quran˺ down on the Night of Glory

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ2

Ayah 2

Translation of the meaningAnd what will make you realize what the Night of Glory is

لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرࣱ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرࣲ‏3

Ayah 3

Translation of the meaningThe Night of Glory is better than a thousand months

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرࣲ‏4

Ayah 4

Translation of the meaningThat night the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit descend, by the permission of their Lord, for every ˹decreed˺ matter

سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ5

Ayah 5

Translation of the meaningIt is all peace until the break of dawn
