الٓرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَقُرۡءَانࣲ مُّبِينࣲ‏1

Ayah 1

Translation of the meaningAlif-Lãm-Ra. These are the verses of the Book; the clear Quran

رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ كَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ2

Ayah 2

Translation of the meaning˹The day will come when˺ the disbelievers will certainly wish they had submitted ˹to Allah˺

ذَرۡهُمۡ يَأۡكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلۡهِهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ3

Ayah 3

Translation of the meaning˹So˺ let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by ˹false˺ hope, for they will soon know

وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابࣱ مَّعۡلُومࣱ‏4

Ayah 4

Translation of the meaningWe have never destroyed a society without a destined term

مَّا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ5

Ayah 5

Translation of the meaningNo people can advance their doom, nor can they delay it

وَقَالُواْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُونࣱ‏6

Ayah 6

Translation of the meaningThey say, “O you to whom the Reminder is revealed! You must be insane

لَّوۡمَا تَأۡتِينَا بِٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ7

Ayah 7

Translation of the meaningWhy do you not bring us the angels, if what you say is true?”

مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذࣰ ا مُّنظَرِينَ8

Ayah 8

Translation of the meaningWe do not send the angels down except for a just cause, and then ˹the end of˺ the disbelievers will not be delayed

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ9

Ayah 9

Translation of the meaningIt is certainly We Who have revealed the Reminder, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ10

Ayah 10

Translation of the meaningIndeed, We sent messengers before you ˹O Prophet˺ among the groups of early peoples

وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ11

Ayah 11

Translation of the meaningbut no messenger ever came to them without being mocked

كَذَٰلِكَ نَسۡلُكُهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ12

Ayah 12

Translation of the meaningThis is how We allow disbelief ˹to steep˺ into the hearts of the wicked

لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ13

Ayah 13

Translation of the meaningThey would not believe in this ˹Quran˺ despite the ˹many˺ examples of those ˹destroyed˺ before

وَلَوۡ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَابࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّواْ فِيهِ يَعۡرُجُونَ14

Ayah 14

Translation of the meaningAnd even if We opened for them a gate to heaven, through which they continued to ascend

لَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمࣱ مَّسۡحُورُونَ15

Ayah 15

Translation of the meaningstill they would say, “Our eyes have truly been dazzled! In fact, we must have been bewitched.”

وَلَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجࣰ ا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ16

Ayah 16

Translation of the meaningIndeed, We have placed constellations in the sky, and adorned it for all to see

وَحَفِظۡنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنࣲ رَّجِيمٍ17

Ayah 17

Translation of the meaningAnd We protected it from every accursed devil

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابࣱ مُّبِينࣱ‏18

Ayah 18

Translation of the meaningexcept the one eavesdropping, who is then pursued by a visible flare

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَٰهَا وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءࣲ مَّوۡزُونࣲ‏19

Ayah 19

Translation of the meaningAs for the earth, We spread it out and placed upon it firm mountains, and caused everything to grow there in perfect balance

وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ20

Ayah 20

Translation of the meaningAnd We made in it means of sustenance for you and others, who you do not provide for

وَإِن مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرࣲ مَّعۡلُومࣲ‏21

Ayah 21

Translation of the meaningThere is not any means ˹of sustenance˺ whose reserves We do not hold, only bringing it forth in precise measure

وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءࣰ فَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ22

Ayah 22

Translation of the meaningWe send fertilizing winds, and bring down rain from the sky for you to drink. It is not you who hold its reserves

وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ نُحۡيِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ23

Ayah 23

Translation of the meaningSurely it is We Who give life and cause death. And We are the ˹Eternal˺ Successor

وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَـٔۡخِرِينَ24

Ayah 24

Translation of the meaningWe certainly know those who have gone before you and those who will come after ˹you˺

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمࣱ‏25

Ayah 25

Translation of the meaningSurely your Lord ˹alone˺ will gather them together ˹for judgment˺. He is truly All-Wise, All-Knowing

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلࣲ مِّنۡ حَمَإࣲ مَّسۡنُونࣲ‏26

Ayah 26

Translation of the meaningIndeed, We created man from sounding clay moulded from black mud

وَٱلۡجَآنَّ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ27

Ayah 27

Translation of the meaningAs for the jinn, We created them earlier from smokeless fire

وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرࣰ ا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلࣲ مِّنۡ حَمَإࣲ مَّسۡنُونࣲ‏28

Ayah 28

Translation of the meaning˹Remember, O Prophet˺ when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to create a human being from sounding clay moulded from black mud

فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ29

Ayah 29

Translation of the meaningSo when I have fashioned him and had a spirit of My Own ˹creation˺ breathed into him, fall down in prostration to him.”

فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ30

Ayah 30

Translation of the meaningSo the angels prostrated all together—

إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ31

Ayah 31

Translation of the meaningbut not Iblîs, who refused to prostrate with the others

قَالَ يَٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ32

Ayah 32

Translation of the meaningAllah asked, “O Iblîs! What is the matter with you that you did not join others in prostration?”

قَالَ لَمۡ أَكُن لِّأَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن صَلۡصَٰلࣲ مِّنۡ حَمَإࣲ مَّسۡنُونࣲ‏33

Ayah 33

Translation of the meaningHe replied, “It is not for me to prostrate to a human You created from sounding clay moulded from black mud.”

قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمࣱ‏34

Ayah 34

Translation of the meaningAllah commanded, “Then get out of Paradise, for you are truly cursed

وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ ٱللَّعۡنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ35

Ayah 35

Translation of the meaningAnd surely upon you is condemnation until the Day of Judgment.”

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ36

Ayah 36

Translation of the meaningSatan appealed, “My Lord! Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.”

قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ37

Ayah 37

Translation of the meaningAllah said, “You will be delayed

إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ38

Ayah 38

Translation of the meaninguntil the appointed Day.”

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ39

Ayah 39

Translation of the meaningSatan responded, “My Lord! For allowing me to stray I will surely tempt them on earth and mislead them all together

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ40

Ayah 40

Translation of the meaningexcept Your chosen servants among them.”

قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسۡتَقِيمٌ41

Ayah 41

Translation of the meaningAllah said, “This is the Way, binding on Me

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَاوِينَ42

Ayah 42

Translation of the meaningyou will certainly have no authority over My servants, except the deviant who follow you

وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوۡعِدُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ43

Ayah 43

Translation of the meaningand surely Hell is their destined place, all together

لَهَا سَبۡعَةُ أَبۡوَٰبࣲ لِّكُلِّ بَابࣲ مِّنۡهُمۡ جُزۡءࣱ مَّقۡسُومٌ44

Ayah 44

Translation of the meaningIt has seven gates, to each a group of them is designated.”

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتࣲ وَعُيُونٍ45

Ayah 45

Translation of the meaningIndeed, the righteous will be amid Gardens and springs

ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ46

Ayah 46

Translation of the meaning˹It will be said to them,˺ “Enter in peace and security.”

وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرࣲ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ47

Ayah 47

Translation of the meaningWe will remove whatever bitterness they had in their hearts. In a friendly manner, they will be on thrones, facing one another

لَا يَمَسُّهُمۡ فِيهَا نَصَبࣱ وَمَا هُم مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِينَ48

Ayah 48

Translation of the meaningNo fatigue will touch them there, nor will they ever be asked to leave

۞نَبِّئۡ عِبَادِيٓ أَنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ49

Ayah 49

Translation of the meaningInform My servants ˹O Prophet˺ that I am truly the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful

وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ٱلۡأَلِيمُ50

Ayah 50

Translation of the meaningand that My torment is indeed the most painful

وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ عَن ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ51

Ayah 51

Translation of the meaningAnd inform them ˹O Prophet˺ about Abraham’s guests

إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمࣰ ا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ52

Ayah 52

Translation of the meaningwho entered upon him and greeted ˹him with˺, “Peace!” He ˹later˺ said, “Surely we are afraid of you.”

قَالُواْ لَا تَوۡجَلۡ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمࣲ‏53

Ayah 53

Translation of the meaningThey reassured ˹him˺, “Do not be afraid! Surely we give you good news of a knowledgeable son.”

قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ54

Ayah 54

Translation of the meaningHe wondered, “Do you give me good news despite my old age? What unlikely news!”

قَالُواْ بَشَّرۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِطِينَ55

Ayah 55

Translation of the meaningThey responded, “We give you good news in all truth, so do not be one of those who despair.”

قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ56

Ayah 56

Translation of the meaningHe exclaimed, “Who would despair of the mercy of their Lord except the misguided?”

قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ57

Ayah 57

Translation of the meaningHe ˹then˺ added, “What is your mission, O messenger-angels?”

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمࣲ مُّجۡرِمِينَ58

Ayah 58

Translation of the meaningThey replied, “We have actually been sent to a wicked people

إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ59

Ayah 59

Translation of the meaningAs for the family of Lot, we will certainly deliver them all

إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ60

Ayah 60

Translation of the meaningexcept his wife. We have determined that she will be one of the doomed.”

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ61

Ayah 61

Translation of the meaningSo when the messengers came to the family of Lot

قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ مُّنكَرُونَ62

Ayah 62

Translation of the meaninghe said, “You are surely an unfamiliar people!”

قَالُواْ بَلۡ جِئۡنَٰكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمۡتَرُونَ63

Ayah 63

Translation of the meaningThey responded, “We have come to you with that ˹torment˺ which they have doubted

وَأَتَيۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ64

Ayah 64

Translation of the meaningWe come to you with the truth, and we are certainly truthful

فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعࣲ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱتَّبِعۡ أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدࣱ وَٱمۡضُواْ حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُونَ65

Ayah 65

Translation of the meaningSo travel with your family in the dark of night, and follow ˹closely˺ behind them. Do not let any of you look back, and go where you are commanded.”

وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعࣱ مُّصۡبِحِينَ66

Ayah 66

Translation of the meaningWe revealed to him this decree: “Those ˹sinners˺ will be uprooted in the morning.”

وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ67

Ayah 67

Translation of the meaningAnd there came the men of the city, rejoicing

قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ68

Ayah 68

Translation of the meaningLot pleaded, “Indeed, these are my guests, so do not embarrass me

وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ69

Ayah 69

Translation of the meaningFear Allah and do not humiliate me.”

قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ70

Ayah 70

Translation of the meaningThey responded, “Have we not forbidden you from protecting anyone?”

قَالَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ71

Ayah 71

Translation of the meaningHe said, “O my people! Here are my daughters ˹so marry them˺ if you wish to do so.”

لَعَمۡرُكَ إِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ72

Ayah 72

Translation of the meaningBy your life ˹O Prophet˺, they certainly wandered blindly, intoxicated ˹by lust˺

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُشۡرِقِينَ73

Ayah 73

Translation of the meaningSo the ˹mighty˺ blast overtook them at sunrise

فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةࣰ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ74

Ayah 74

Translation of the meaningAnd We turned the cities ˹of Sodom and Gomorrah˺ upside down and rained upon them stones of baked clay

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتࣲ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ75

Ayah 75

Translation of the meaningSurely in this are signs for those who contemplate

وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلࣲ مُّقِيمٍ76

Ayah 76

Translation of the meaningTheir ruins still lie along a known route

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةࣰ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ77

Ayah 77

Translation of the meaningSurely in this is a sign for those who believe

وَإِن كَانَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَيۡكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ78

Ayah 78

Translation of the meaningAnd the residents of the Forest were truly wrongdoers

فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامࣲ مُّبِينࣲ‏79

Ayah 79

Translation of the meaningso We inflicted punishment upon them. The ruins of both nations still lie on a well-known road

وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡحِجۡرِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ80

Ayah 80

Translation of the meaningIndeed, the residents of the Stone Valley also denied the messengers

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ81

Ayah 81

Translation of the meaningWe gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them

وَكَانُواْ يَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ82

Ayah 82

Translation of the meaningThey carved their homes in the mountains, feeling secure

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُصۡبِحِينَ83

Ayah 83

Translation of the meaningBut the ˹mighty˺ blast overtook them in the morning

فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ84

Ayah 84

Translation of the meaningand all they achieved was of no help to them

وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَأٓتِيَةࣱۖ فَٱصۡفَحِ ٱلصَّفۡحَ ٱلۡجَمِيلَ85

Ayah 85

Translation of the meaningWe have not created the heavens and the earth and everything in between except for a purpose. And the Hour is certain to come, so forgive graciously

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ86

Ayah 86

Translation of the meaningSurely your Lord is the Master Creator, All-Knowing

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكَ سَبۡعࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَثَانِي وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡعَظِيمَ87

Ayah 87

Translation of the meaningWe have certainly granted you the seven often-repeated verses and the great Quran

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجࣰ ا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ88

Ayah 88

Translation of the meaningDo not let your eyes crave the ˹fleeting˺ pleasures We have provided for some of the disbelievers, nor grieve for them. And be gracious to the believers

وَقُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ89

Ayah 89

Translation of the meaningAnd say, “I am truly sent with a clear warning”—

كَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتَسِمِينَ90

Ayah 90

Translation of the meaning˹a warning˺ similar to what We sent to those who divided ˹the Scriptures˺

ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُواْ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عِضِينَ91

Ayah 91

Translation of the meaningwho ˹now˺ accept parts of the Quran, rejecting others

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسۡـَٔلَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ92

Ayah 92

Translation of the meaningSo by your Lord! We will certainly question them all

عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ93

Ayah 93

Translation of the meaningabout what they used to do

فَٱصۡدَعۡ بِمَا تُؤۡمَرُ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ94

Ayah 94

Translation of the meaningSo proclaim what you have been commanded, and turn away from the polytheists

إِنَّا كَفَيۡنَٰكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَهۡزِءِينَ95

Ayah 95

Translation of the meaningSurely We will be sufficient for you against the mockers

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ96

Ayah 96

Translation of the meaningwho set up ˹other˺ gods with Allah. They will soon come to know

وَلَقَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدۡرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ97

Ayah 97

Translation of the meaningWe certainly know that your heart is truly distressed by what they say

فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ98

Ayah 98

Translation of the meaningSo glorify the praises of your Lord and be one of those who ˹always˺ pray

وَٱعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَكَ ٱلۡيَقِينُ99

Ayah 99

Translation of the meaningand worship your Lord until the inevitable comes your way
