The Opening

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ1

Ayah 1

Translation of the meaningIn the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ2

Ayah 2

Translation of the meaningAll praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ3

Ayah 3

Translation of the meaningthe Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

مَٰلِكِ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ4

Ayah 4

Translation of the meaningMaster of the Day of Judgment

إِيَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِينُ5

Ayah 5

Translation of the meaningYou ˹alone˺ we worship and You ˹alone˺ we ask for help

ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ6

Ayah 6

Translation of the meaningGuide us along the Straight Path

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ7

Ayah 7

Translation of the meaningthe Path of those You have blessed—not those You are displeased with, or those who are astray
